Go See Nefarious!

I’ve never written a review for a movie until today. If you haven’t yet seen the movie Nefarious, you must see it. The movie was produced, written, and directed by Christians on a tight budget. Usually when critics use “tight budget,” you can expect bad cinematography and when they use “Christian,” you can expect the movie to have a cheesy plot with stale acting. Nefarious is different. From the writing to the cinematography to the acting, the film was great. I’ll also add: Nefarious is a horror film. But it’s not what you’re expecting. Look at the trailer.

Most of the Christian movies today placate viewers into sentimentality and nostalgia because that’s what viewers want. Christian movie goers choose corny conversion scenes and unrealistic romances when the story God wrote—the story we all live in—deals with real lives encountering good and evil every day. That’s why Christians made a movie about a demon named Nefarious. The movie does not shy away from heavy topics, so I do not advise children to watch this movie. However, the acting and the subject matter will give you something to talk about for days.
